Community Grants Scheme 2008/09 Now Open

CARRATHOOL SHIRE COUNCIL COMMUNITY GRANTS SCHEME2008/09 ROUND NOW OPEN

The 2008/09 Round of Carrathool Shire Council’s Community Grants Scheme is now open.  The Scheme is Council’s annual funding program that enables community groups to meet identified needs in a partnership with Council.  The purpose of the Scheme is to enhance the development of strong local communities and support the well-being of the Shire’s communities.

 

The funding program provides up to $1500 for not-for-profit community groups to complete a project that is locally based and benefits the residents and communities of Carrathool Shire.

 

Application Forms and Guidelines for the Community Grants Scheme are available from the Goolgowi Shire Office, Hillston District Office and the WG Parker Memorial Library. They can also be found on Council’s website http://www.carrathool.local-e.nsw.gov.au/council/1359/1541.html. The closing date for applications is 5pm, Thursday 31 July 2008.
