Community Grants Scheme
Carrathool Shire Council has introduced as one of its initiatives for the new financial year a Community Grants Scheme. Council has set aside $20,000 to consider applications from the community for one off grants or funding agreements up to three years.

Maintenance of Hillston Oval
In response to calls by the Hillston Ex-Servicemen’s & Citizens Club and key users of the Stan Peters Oval, Hillston, Council, on 20 July 2004, decided to take over the running of the oval until 31 March 2005.
